Our Fine Virginia Peanuts were first grown commercially, in the US, on a farm near our plant just outside Wakefield, VA.   Peanuts were carried by the Confederate Soldiers because they were light, nourishing and they tasted good. The Virginia Peanut is the largest and tastiest of the peanut varieties.   It is often referred to as the "gourmet peanut".   And, they're healthy - zero trans fat.
